SECRET MAILDROP -- NO SELF-RESPECTING PT WOULD BE WITHOUT A MD
(MailDrop)
No self-respecting PT (Perpetual Tourist, Privacy Tycoon, Past
Taxpayer, Prepared Thoroughly) individual would ever think of gliding through life
while beating the bureaucracy without a MD (maildrop). We here at Expat
World have just recently established a relationship with what we believe
is one of the world's most secretive maildrop providers. This new MD is
located in an off-the-radar country in Central America, but not hampered
by the manana culture found in this area. WHY? Because the mail is
controlled by a Canadian authority who has a governmental contract to take the mail
system up to first world quality and efficiency. Before EW goes any further into this specific MD let's view what
you should be looking for in a MD, whether you are a PT, frequent
flyer,"publicity shy individual", own an internet business,
investor, "financier", offshore corporation owner, divorcee, on the lamb, or just
those wishing to establish an international presence from their back
porch.
- Your maildrop should be low-profile, located in a place that few
would bother looking towards. Unfortunately, many of the MD's of today are
registered on Big Brother's list and can be compromised.
- The MD should guarantee your personal details are securely protected
and they will not divulge any details or information to any
individual, business, or government agency without an official court order at the
least.
- The MD should have an address for you that appears to be a residence
address rather than appearing as a PO Box address.
- A code should be provided (or the availability to choose on) that
identifies you as the real owner of the account so that the MD personal
can follows any specific orders or changes to your account.
- It should be able to provide fax, telephone and other "very specific
services" to you on a one-on-one basis at rates negotiable for the
specific services provided.
THE NEW GUATEMALA MD FOR LESS THAN A GLASS OF BEER A DAY IN YOUR LOCAL
Guatemala Maildrop
First, let EW say that the Guatemala MD has all the qualities we
previously talked about being necessary. Plus they have some very
specific services that can't be found elsewhere and are very flexible, BUT don't
take this to mean they will do anything that is illegal or
fraudulent. This is not the case. So if you into kiddy porn, scams, spamming or the
like, don't think of becoming a Guatemala MD client. They'll shut you down
quicker than fart disappears in a wind storm.
HOW IT WORKS
After forwarding the payment of US $260 setup and service fee and 12 X $20 ($240) for the postage account deposit, (full total $500), your
account will be set up. This $500 is the cost for the first year. From
the second year onward the fees are $100 service fees and $240 for the
postage account. For additional special services, the cost will differ
depending on the nature of the service. Along with the payment we will need the name you want to use for
the account. You can have two names associated with the account, BUT
one must be a personal name and the other a business name. Along with the
name(s) for the account, the forwarding address you want to use for the
mail received. (you may ask the MD to hold it up till one year if you
don't want it forwarded. You can also choose a code word for your account.
Any
code word of up to 10 letters or letter/digit combos. Choose this code
word, or let the MD give you one, carefully for it must be incorporated
in the address of the MD drop address so the people doing the sorting know
whose letters are whose so they can forward the mail to the correct
address. A simple, but effective type code word would be like "Dept BIZ
-222. You will be given by the MD staff in Guatemala the address where
you have your mail sent. It will be an "apartados" which is abbreviated
apt. on all letter addresses! And of course to all English observers and
first-worlders that assumes it's an apartment. So naturally one appears
to be living or doing business in an apartment complex down Guatemala
way. All mail will have a double cut out by you using the method of
having the envelopes address to a Latin American Company (provided n the
address the MD will give you for sending mail to) with the name you
chose and code word .
Whether the client uses a fake or real or no RETURN ADDRESS on the
outside of the mail or mail package is up to him except its suspicious
in the US to not use one at all -- so the G MD suggest something be
used.. When mail is received either in package form or individually, the code
word and name is correlated to the correct forwarding address and then sent
via airmail post. Letters included with no code word or instructions to "forward to
code word" such and such, will be opened by the MD people and assumed to
be new instructions for delivery or account info., etc.
